Natalia sighed as she nonchalantly sipped from her milk, sitting at a bench outside, leaning slightly upon the table before her, nibbling at a muffin between sips.
It was the first day of school, and she still had about an hour before class actually started, and she couldn't say she was particularily excited about it. In fact, she rather disliked it. The whispering peers, causing a ruckus and distracting the teacher. She just wanted to get her work done and pass.
She was doing all she could to make her brother proud of her.
The sooner school ended, the quicker she could show him, see, Vanya? See what I have done? I went to the best school, got the best grades, surely you ar eproud, surely you wish to marry me now?
She sighed again, setting down her drink to finish her muffin, neatly wiping her lips with a napkin. She hoped the year wouldn't be too tedious as her indigo gaze started to take in her surroundings.
Just another hour until school started.
